Rachel currently works for Microsoft as a Sr. Developer Evangelist based in the NYC Metro area.

Rachel is an industry recognized author, mentor, trainer, and speaker, who regularly speaks at national conferences such as DevConnections, MIX, VSLive, and CodeStock.

Previous to joining Microsoft, Rachel has worked with a variety of languages, technologies, and systems for over more than 20 years in software development. She has developed software products of all sizes, from small desktop programs to large scale enterprise applications at some of the world’s leading companies. Rachel's area of expertise is building enterprise .NET systems working with Microsoft ASP.NET, HTML5, and related technologies. Rachel also develops Metro applications on Windows 8.

Other technical interests of Rachel’s include hard core computer science and artificial intelligence.
